At times, life presents difficulties that strain our emotional balance, relationships, or everyday routines. Our conversations offer space to understand these experiences and consider practical ways forward.

Counseling offers space to express thoughts and feelings that often remain unspoken in everyday life. Through conversation, we seek to understand personal circumstances, emotions and recurring difficulties more clearly, while also considering practical ways forward.
“Supporting the emotional wellbeing and personal growth of those who sometimes feel worn down by life’s struggles.”Somogyi Levente · Founder
You do not need to wait until difficulties become overwhelming. Some people seek help with a particular situation; others want to understand themselves better.
Stress, anxiety, burnout, loss and grief; traumatic experiences; lifestyle and recovery support related to alcohol, substance use, gambling, online gaming or problematic pornography use.
Intimate and family relationships, communication, conflict, life transitions, new beginnings and important decisions.
Personal identity, emotional and relationship patterns, individual strengths, and everyday adaptation and self-understanding related to ADHD and autism.
Counseling generally begins with an in-person or online conversation, allowing us to get acquainted and explore your current circumstances.
The first conversation lets us consider together what might help bring about change. We generally take a practical, solution-focused approach while also attending to the deeper context of your circumstances.
We agree on the duration, frequency and format of meetings together.
Alongside individual counseling, we have developed thematic programs that allow for more in-depth work on particular life situations, personal challenges and periods of change.

Founder of Human-Service and Lead Senior Mental Health Counselor.
Like the expert colleagues who collaborate with the Human-Service Counseling Center, I too have been working in mental health and lifestyle counseling, as well as developing corporate well-being programs, for nearly twenty years.
My professional journey began in the United States, where I earned my bachelor’s and master’s degrees at Chadron State College in Nebraska, the latter in mental health counseling. I later continued my studies in the social psychology doctoral program at the University of Pécs.
Over the past decades I have worked with individual clients, university students and employees. In my counseling practice, I attend both to understanding personal circumstances and to identifying realistic ways forward.
Our approach is person-centered, systemic, integrative and typically solution-focused. Counselors do not make decisions for clients; they support clients in developing their own understanding and choices.
