Preparing for Motherhood — Four-Day Residential Retreat for Expectant Mothers
Step away from the pace of daily life and give yourself four days close to nature, where emotional preparation is as important as physical rest. Guided by experienced psychologists in a safe and supportive setting, you can strengthen your confidence, learn to manage anxiety, and prepare for the challenges of childbirth and motherhood. A small group of 8–12 participants, full board and complementary activities offer space to draw on your own inner resources as you approach parenthood.
Group workshops and individual conversations explore self-awareness, relationship dilemmas, stress management, mood regulation, effective communication, procrastination and time management, building a more structured daily routine, and practical solutions to individual challenges.
What does the programme include?
Participants take part in a structured daytime programme from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., including small-group sessions, one-to-one counselling and themed workshops. Accommodation is provided at a well-equipped venue with full board. Three trained psychologists or counsellors stay with the group throughout the retreat.
Who can participate?
The programme is intended primarily for expectant mothers.
